Forget MLB, the Phillies deserve their shot finally. Chase Utley, Cole Hamels, Brad Lidge, and Jimmy Rollins are some other notable stars. I, as well as most other Phillies fans would rather the games be broadcasted by our local announcers, rather than listen to FOX's biased call of the game. It's interesting that you mentioned the need for the little stories, because FOX blew up the fact that Philly and LA were throwing at each other, showing more of that than the actual big plays during the highlight reels.
